What are you fishing for?

Dams, streams, the bank and the sea. Pick your water and we’ll show you what we’d take.

  1. Bass The dams around Pietermaritzburg. Plastics, cranks, and the drowned trees.
  2. Fly Trout water in the Midlands and the Berg. Flies tied in the shop.
  3. Carp A proper bomb, the right flavour, and patience.
  4. Sea Rock and surf, and deep sea off the KZN coast.

Tigerfish.

Teeth, speed and a jump that throws hooks. For the tigerfish waters up north you want lures that can take a beating, wire or heavy leaders, and rods and reels with some backbone. We have a selection of tiger lures and the rods and reels to go with them.
